Visiting Mont De Lancey Historic Homestead and property

Visitors to Mont De Lancey enjoy a personally guided tour of St Mary's Chapel, the Homestead, Blacksmiths and Machinery Shed with one of our volunteers. Many of our volunteers are descendants of Wandin's pioneer families and other are locals or travel some distance to be involved. All are committed to making your visit a rich historical and entertaining experience.

After your guided tour you're welcome to browse the grounds and extensive museum collection at your leisure. Enjoy panoramic views of the Yarra Valley from the Garden, art works in the Gallery, and Wandin's early history on video in the Heritage Room.

Are you thinking of organising a Family Reunion or BYO Picnic?. The gardens at Mont De Lancey offer the perfect setting.

We recommend a minimum of two hours for your visit.

While you're here enjoy breakfast, lunch or light refreshments at Les Chesselles French Café in the grounds of Mont De Lancey, and pick up a tourist guide or brochures from reception for other places of interest in the Yarra Valley.

We are open:
