Frequently Asked Questions About:
Cinema In The Paddock

General

What time do gates open and movie start?

Settle in for the movie from 7:30pm (after the Twilight Christmas Market), and the movie will commence at sundown, around 8.30pm.

Is the event family friendly?

Most definitely! In fact, we encourage you to bring the kids along and enjoy a fun night with the entire family.

Please check the movie rating to decide whether the movie will be appropriate for your child.

What should I bring?

As an outdoor all weather event, we may experience some wind and rain so we recommend you come prepared by:

  • Layering up or bringing a blanket if you have one.
  • Insect repellent to keep those pesky mozzies and flies away.
  • You are welcome to bring your own rugs, bean bags, lawn chairs etc.  Just be aware that taller chairs will be restricted to designated areas of the venue so that everyone can see the screen.
  • And last but not least, don’t forget to bring your friends and family to share in the fun.
Can I bring my camera?

4. Of course! Who wouldn’t want to share their experience of a great night out in the Paddock! You can share them with us on Instagram and Facebook by tagging @montdelancey and using #montdelancey so we can see your snaps and repost them.

Venue

Take advantage of our bean bags for hire, or you are welcome to bring your own rugs, bean bags, lawn chairs etc. Just be aware that taller chairs will be restricted to designated areas of the venue so that everyone can see the screen.

What is your weather policy?

Part of the experience of an outdoor cinema is enjoying whatever mother nature may throw at us.

We screen in most weather conditions but may need to cancel screenings where the weather poses a danger to our patrons and staff, such as thunder storms, high winds or torrential rain.

We encourage you to keep an eye on the weather forecast. If it looks like rain, wear something waterproof and if it looks a little chilly, then bring something to snuggle under.

By purchasing your ticket, you accept and acknowledge the unpredictable nature of  weather and no refunds will be given if you do not find the weather satisfactory.

If we do need to cancel due to weather or any other unforeseen event, we will:

  • Email the person who booked the ticket with instructions on how to transfer your tickets.
  • Post a cancellation notice on our website and on our Facebook/Instragram page usually by 3pm at the latest.
