Showcasing beautiful hand painted porcelain by talented porcelain painters of Victoria.  The themes are many and varied, from abstract and animals, to traditional antique style porcelain and florals.

Australasian Porcelain Art Teachers and the Victorian Guild of China Painters have come together to foster the art of Porcelain painting. Australasian Porcelain Art Teachers have been operating as an organisation for over 40 years and the way we paint is forever changing.  We are always learning new methods and techniques and the porcelain pieces are many and varied from plates, vases, boxes and tiles to mention a few.

A great variety of subjects are painted from traditional, European, scenes, portraits, animals and stylised designs featuring pen work, textures and lustres.   An on-glaze paint is applied to the porcelain which is then fired in a kiln.   It is a very challenging and satisfying art form with a great variety of porcelain shapes and subjects to paint.
